COLLECTION COUNTERS
Collection counters are volunteers who assemble weekly on Sundays at the Rectory after Mass for the purpose of counting the church collections. The counters open church envelopes and insure that the amount checked correlates with the amount given. They also count the collections, tally amounts and fill out the required reports. The amounts printed on the envelopes are then entered into the parish office computer to be available for auditing purposes.
Volunteers share their time (approximately 2 hours per week) and should have general math skills.
Statements are prepared annually upon request for tax purposes .
