LECTORS
This ministry trains applicants to proclaim the Word of God through scripture readings at Mass.
Training is provided after which the Lector is instituted to proclaim the readings from Scripture, with the exception of the Gospel. They also announce the intentions for the general intercessions when the deacon is not present and occasionally read the Psalm between the readings.
The impact of God's messages depend significantly on the preparation, delivery and conviction of the Lector.
This ministry is open to all parishioners.
