ST. MARY FOOD PANTRY
The Food Pantry at our parish has been in operation for many years to help residents of the Jewett City, Griswold and surrounding areas who find themselves in need of food and household items as a result of illness, unemployment, or other unfortunate family circumstances. We can offer short-term emergency food assistance.
We work from money and food supplied to the Food Pantry through donations from a variety of sources such as charitable agencies, local businesses, and Holy Spirit Community parishioners.
Donations are made at the pantry at St. Mary’s rectory basement.
We distribute food twice monthly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.
On those days we are open for distribution
10:00 and 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
(whichever one works best for you.)
Our pantry is open to anyone in need.
